Job description, responsibilities and duties

> Responsibility for a holistic data management with regards to product master data and the competitor environment for our PLT product portfolio in EMEA, thereby contributing significantly to data-driven and analytical decision making during the entire product lifecycle
> Structured preparation of product performance data for existing and planned product lines (incl. interface to TCS)
> Structured preparation, consolidation and analysis
of competitor product porftolio information to benchmark existing and planned product lines (incl. responsibility for maintenance and development of benchmarking tools as well as interface to Business Intelligence and Technical Benchmarking)
> Preparation of product portfolio analysis for Tire Line Addition and Range Cleaning processes, i.e. scanning and preparation of ETRma pool data, brand market coverage calculation, financial as well as OE and fitment data.
> Gather, analyse and prepare future market and industry trends in order to support product management for existing and future product lines (interface to Business development and Business Intelligence)
> Responsible for RE article creation and maintenance in the relevant product management systems (CTMD, cPlace, SPROMAR 2+), i.e. Start-/Stop dates, country steering, etc.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

> University degree (required fields of study: Business Studies / Information Technology / Economics Science / Economics, Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, Engineering)
> High proficiency in English language
> Understanding of IT-systems / system infrastructure and business processes is a plus. Experience in handling complex processes and system landscapes desirable
> Analytical skills
> Strong sense of responsibility, initiative
and self-motivation Is a must.
> Willingness to work in virtual team as well as willingness to travel
> Product knowledge PLT Tires is of advantage
> Preferably, 3-5 years of experience
in either marketing & sales or R&D or IT
