We are Clarios Slovakia and we are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our EMEA team in RTR department. Do you wonder what RTR does?

Our Record to Report (RTR) team is responsible for completing general accounting transactions across the business portfolio, whilst at the same time, ensuring that we meet our internal and external reporting and control requirements. This role provides excellent opportunities to apply existing skills in a complex and interesting environment, whilst developing your professional profile through the use of varied ERPs, directly enhancing your career potential.

Interested what will be your tasks?

• Be responsible for all Month End closing activities, in compliance with company accounting policies and standards

• Preparation of journal entries and their postings

• Accounting corrections and reclassifications to ensure accurate accounting records

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation and follow up on any open or un-reconciled items

• Close cooperation with regional legal entities controllers and other GBS departments such as PTP, OTC, VAT

• Act as primary contact for external and internal auditors and ensure delivery of high-quality data and cooperation

• Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by management.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to further streamline accounting tasks, increase efficiency and shorten month end close calendar

• Participate in various projects

• Providing trainings for accountants

• Act as primary contact for external and internal auditors and ensure delivery of high quality data and cooperation

What kind of energy we are looking for?

• Business education degree or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting

• Relevant experience in the Finance department

• Accounting/reporting overview

• MS-Office (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint), ERP experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle is preferred)

• C1 level of English, communicative, collaborative, and team player

• Analytical skills

• Willing to develop, learn, proactive attitude, flexibility, engagement is always a plus

• Customer and result oriented, someone who wants to act as a true business partner

The starting salary is at min 1 500 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
