We are Clarios and we are looking for a Senior Accountant who knows how to:

• Initiate and record intercompany transactions based on appropriate supporting documentation

• Prepare or review monthly intercompany statements and agree to general ledger account detail

• Reconcile intercompany accounts during month-end close and timely follow-up on all reconciling items

• Work with bank accounting to settle intercompany transactions and follow-up on unsettled account balances

• Monitor the intercompany account balances, identifying, resolving, or escalating potential out-of-balance issues to R2R Process Delivery Lead in a timely manner

• Assist ICO Team Leader to identify and implement process improvement initiatives and best practices

• Leverage related systems and ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures

• Degree in accounting and / or finance; strong accounting background and accuracy

• Min 5 years of experience in complex accounting, preferably in the industrial products sector

• Strong communication skills in English (level B2)

• Good PC skills and knowledge of MS Excel/SAP

• Team player with pro-active approach and problem-solving personality

• Local accounting certifications or partial professional accountancy qualification such as FIA/ CIMA/ ACCA

The starting salary is at min 1 600 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
