We are looking for someone empowered with strong communication skills and clear understanding of finance (Accounts Receivable).

You will be communicating with our business partners in English and German language. You will be expected to analyze and identify risks and solve issues that may occur while collecting cash.

In your role as a Collections Analyst you will manage Collection processes, provide early stage customer service and, where necessary, raise cases including customer complaints.

What type of responsibilities come with the role?
- Ensure customer payments are received timely by using internal customers portals and by cooperation with the Sales team.
- Proactively eliminate risks of past due date balances.
- Follow up on past due invoices with support of the Sales team.
- Compare regularly the outstanding AR balances with customer confirmations.
- Drive resolution of invoice issues - incorrect/missing invoices, self-billing issues.
- Identification of unallocated items and further investigation of its nature.
- Reconcile disputed items and address to appropriate resolver - quality claims, price differences, quantity differences.
- Prepare, process and track credit/debit memo requests.
- Process warranty bonuses in co-operation with the Sales team.
- Work with customer portals to obtain documentation for claims.
- Weekly reporting of outstanding AR to the Sales team.
- Participate on internal and external meetings.
- Cooperate closely with various Order to Cash teams and the Sales team on a daily basis.

What do you need to have?
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or finance. FIA/ACCA is welcomed. This will help you to get familiar with environment and complexity of your tasks.
- As English will be your main communication tool, level C1 is a must.
- Deutschsprachige stufe auf der ebene von Business Kommunikation.
- We expect you to work on your own and have a creative mind in solving problems of our business partners.
- You should be able to know how to prioritize tasks based on urgency/complexity.
- Knowledge of SAP is needed. This will be your everyday tool.
- We expect knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, Word on an advanced level.

The starting salary is at min 1 500 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
