Client Operations Specialist - Treasury and Trade Solutions

Who we are

Trade Operations Unit at Citi Slovakia is part of Treasury and Trade Operations offering and maintaining the full range of trade services and trade finance products and payments.

The Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Client Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring Trade transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with processing centers and other stakeholders. The overall objective is to use expertise for Trade products (mainly Guarantees, L/C, Collections, Financing) and comprehension of how the team integrates with others in improving efficiencies, completing deliverables efficiently, and accomplishing overall objectives of Trade management strategies.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Support all activities related to Trade Operations area (handling of Guarantees, L/C, Collections, Financing)
  • Perform periodic transaction and process controls, and closely cooperate with Processing shared centers
  • Cooperate on the data mining and data processing activities for external/internal client reporting queries on daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Assist in the testing and implementation of process and system changes
  • Act as customer contact for trade finance and services customers
  • Interact with the Relationship Managers and Trade Product Representatives
  • Be familiar with Flexcube and supporting applications within the TTS Client Operations area
  • Support documentation handling and records management
  • Ensure maintenance of a robust control environment
  • Provide sanction screening support
  • Manage projects and upervise other team members

  • Experience in a related role within trade / cash operations management
  • University degree
  • Fluency in English and Slovak
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Great relationship management skills
