Job description, responsibilities and duties

YOUR ROLE:
As the BPE Expert you will define and drive improvement and standardization programs at selected warehousing locations. You will continuously challenge the current processes in the structured way and support the operational teams in deploying more efficient procedures.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will be responsible for the methodical support to one or several warehouse locations in the areas of:
- Continuous Improvement
- Business Analytics
- Deployment of the “Lean Culture”
- Deployment of Global Standards
- You will obtain a wide knowledge about the processes in respective warehouses, contractual service levels and expectation of internal and external customers.
- By applying analytical methods, you will detect areas fur further improvements of our operations.
- You will define short- and midterm improvement programs and align those programs with warehouse management and external customers.
- You will coach the operational team on the “Lean” Methods and applicable logistics standards.
- You will supervise the progress of the defined improvement programs and support the project teams if needed. For complex improvement projects you will take over the leadership directly.
- You will present the progress of the improvement progress internally and externally.
- Being the expert for Business Analytics you will define and deploy KPI systems, planning and reporting tools.
- Together with the warehouse management you will continuously analyze the business situation in the structured way and support business decisions by solid analytical foundation.
- You will have the knowledge about all applicable global CEVA standards and programs. - You will be responsible to coordinate their implementation within your warehouse locations.
- As the BPE expert you will be the focal point for the CEVA management as well as for the customers regarding local strategy concerning operational improvements, innovative solutions and applied digital tools.
- With increasing expertise, you will have the possibility to obtain an extraordinary experience in one of the relevant areas. This expertise will support your further carrier within the international BPE organization by successive extension of your geographical and functional scope.

To summarize: within in the offered position of BPE Expert you will have the opportunity to apply fully your present logistics experience and extend your carrier within an international organization!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You bring a bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Management or similar) with strong link to process management.
- You have already at least 7 years of warehousing experience – in operational management, project management or process engineering.
- You can combine the data driven analytical way of work with “hands on” interactions on the shop floor.
- You like to access the challenges and detect solutions in analytical way using facts and figures.
- You have experience in analysing of warehousing service contracts as well as profit and loss statements.
- Ideally you already experienced a P&L responsibility.
- You have excellent communications skills which allow you to work with the operational teams on the shop floor but also to convince higher management and external clients about the results of your work.
- Ability to communicate in English is a must.
- You are an excellent team player with the ability to lead efficiently different types of teams – including virtual and international.
- You have already a deep experience with warehousing processes and LEAN methods which you continuously extend by obtaining new knowledge in the independent and target oriented way.
