  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 700 EUR/monthBasic gross salary is starting from 1,700 Eur/month depending on relevant professional qualification and experience of selected candidate, plus 13th salary, Christmas bonus and variable bonuses
  • Contract type: full-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

cargo-partner is now searching for an experienced Sales Representative to join our friendly Business Development team based in Bratislava. If you are sales smart individual eager to drive and generate new business development within international freight forwarding and logistics company this is the right opportunity for you.

Your main tasks:

• Active sales and business development within defined field of responsibility
• Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers
• Ongoing analysis and research of defined market, trade lanes and potential customer target groups
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Prepare proposals, quotations and ensure client’s requirements
• Work with operational and functional groups to deliver value to the clients
• Participate in tender bids and price negotiation with customers
• Represent interests of the company before third parties

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Commercial education or special education in freight forwarding

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

• Commercial education or special education in freight forwarding
• Proven work experience within logistics industry is required
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Knowledge of languages: English on at least B2 level is a must / special advantage is additional language knowledge, f.e. German
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel every day
