Job description, responsibilities and duties

Cambridge International School is seeking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Manager who will have an overall responsibility for the co-ordination and implementation of the recruitment and appointment processes, identifying use of social media, promoting a competitive brand, providing a comprehensive high quality, professional service to applicants and prospective employees as well as ensuring that procedures are effective as well as compliant with safer recruitment and also budget constraints.

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Create and post job advertisements across a range of external online sites;
- Collate applications to create shortlisting packs;
- Schedule interviews including, where required, sitting on the interview panel;
- Coordinate pre-employment checks including requesting references, facilitating DBS checks, collating evidence of eligibility to work in Slovakia;
- Provide legal immigration assistance in line with the Foreign Police and Labour Office regulations and relocation support prior to and after arrival of expat employees;
- Conduct market research, analyse data and identify trends related to the recruiting;
- Inform relevant departments of staff arrival and departure and make sure all accesses and equipment are in place on arrival and taken away on departure;
-Work in close co-operation with the HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

Personality requirements and skills

- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and law regulating the residence of foreign nationals in the Slovak Republic;
- Experience of working in a medium-size or large company and a direct experience of working with foreign staff;
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, in English and Slovak;
- Strong IT, administrative and organisational skills;
- Ability to manage sensitive issues and use discretion with the utmost of confidentiality at all times;
- Willingness to travel overseas if requested for recruitment processes;
- Attention to detail and an ability to take the responsibility for several challenging tasks, while remaining calm and coping effectively with a high workload and many priorities as well as seeing these through to completion within agreed timescales, is also required. The post holder must also be willing to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role during peak times.
