  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 300 - 1 600 EUR/month

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks

-Development and design of PCBs according IPC standard in close cooperation with the areas of circuit development, standardization, quality and production planning.
-Creation of standards and guidelines on multi-layer PCB layouts in close cooperation with the areas of circuit development, standardization, quality and production planning.
-Product and variant support during the product life cycle (change management).
-Participation on layout reviews.
-Technical coordination with PCB manufacturers and electronics manufacturers.
-Creation of PCB production data and documentation (production data creation).
-Monitoring and introduction of new technologies and tools into the layout process (continuous improvement and independent training).
-Close cooperation in interdisciplinary and cross-location development teams.
-Participation (Member) of FED organization.

Rights

-Define requirements for SW Tools (Mentor Tools).
-Definition of required alternative layout geometries.
-New routing orders must meet a minimum standard, this means, the checklist for layout transfer must be completed.
-Participation in the technology selection of the printed circuit board.
-Right to define the minimum standard and requirements, which have to be fulfilled before handover the schematic to the layout group.

Responsibilities

-Completing the layout within the time schedule in compliance with IEC, UL, IPC, EMC, and other international standards as necessary.
-PCB is optimized regarding EMC, signal- and power integrity.
-Reviews and simulations regarding power and signal integrity are done, as far as necessary.
-Consistence of production data .
