Job description, responsibilities and duties

Become a Senior Financial Analyst, GTM for Bloomreach! In light of the company’s rapid growth and increasing complexity of our business, the financial planning & analysis team (FP&A) is expanding as well. You will work with key leadership team members throughout the company for resource planning & forecasting processes. For a strategic and operationally-oriented professional, this is a great opportunity to play a central role in driving the growth of a successful enterprise SaaS company.

Your job will be to:
Build partnerships with the Sales and Marketing teams
Forecast bookings, billings, and revenue recognition
Analyze
Performance management & investment guidance
Streamline and strengthen existing bookings & renewal reporting processes

a. Lead monthly financial reporting process
We use Workday Adaptive for our monthly financial reporting process
Audiences will be C-level execs and key leadership team across the organization
Monthly process includes variance analysis, revenue run rate update, and rolling forecast update

b. Manage company-wide headcount planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
Re-design the company’s headcount approval process
Documentation and periodic update of key processes
Partner with the Recruitment team to align on the list of open positions and their hiring timing

c. Track key operating and financial metrics to inform resource allocation and investment decisions
Analyze effectiveness of resource investments by defining right metrics to measure
Drive analysis of strategic opportunities

Your success story will be:
In 30 days, you will understand current processes and identify areas of improvements
In 90 days, you will lead the first quarterly headcount planning process with support from existing team members
In 180 days, you will lead the new headcount planning process which is newly designed by you
In 210 days, you will work with a broader C-level execs team for the annual financial planning

You have the following experience and qualities:
Professional — experience in management and programming
Personal — motivation, independence, and fluency in English

Professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture capital with a subsequent stint in high growth enterprise software company
Outstanding financial modeling and excel skills with an ability to produce timely and accurate work
Experience in Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Personal qualities
Motivation and willingness to work on big, time-sensitive projects
Independence and self-organization to navigate you through ambiguous situations
Fluency in English and exceptional communication skills for leading your team
