Information about the position

  • Place of work: Hlohovec District
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 360 EUR/month
    • Basic salary from 1360 EURO monthly. Basic salary could be higher, it will be individually set based on experience of the candidate.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • You are creative, innovative and entrepreneurial in the development (R&D) and optimization of both existing and new processes and machines. By integrating new technologies, you are continuously building the roadmap for "equipment of the future".
  • You convert technology and business requirements into design and process concepts. You work out these concepts with a team of designers and experts. In specific cases you work with external partners to design, develop or build new technology, machines or process lines.
  • You are a real team player and, together with the local management, you support the designers in our engineering entities worldwide (Belgium, India, Slovakia, Brazil and China). You continuously contribute to the development of a worldwide team of designers in your domain.
  • You can build up good relationships with the customer and translate the customer needs in to technical specifications.
  • If necessary, you will visit the foreign engineering entities or our production factories.
  • You keep a constant eye on the technology developments in the industry, at universities and research centers.
  • You are responsible for knowledge management in your domain, in a structured manner, and build up plant experience by visiting the plants where you equipment is or will be installed. Knowing how operators work with your machine is very important.

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • You have master degree in mechanical, process engineering science
  • You have preferably 5 years + of experience in machine / process design
  • You are passionate about machine construction / process design
  • You have good knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, energy, physics and chemistry and being able to apply these
  • You are sharing knowledge and insights with design engineers, designers
  • You are analytical, creative and problem solving
  • Project management experience is welcomed
  • Taking initiative, leadership
  • You are communicative, working in an international context
  • Travelling for shorter periods required (1 week per month)
