    • Basic salary from 1360 Eur monthly, could be higher depending on experiences of candidate
    • Variable pay (standard 15%)

Job description, responsibilities and duties


 
  • Develop, produce and maintain internal engineering safety standards for machine development & construction
  • Support designers to develop/design in compliance with the internal engineering safety standards and with the required official applicable directives and harmonized standards for machines building
  • Create and maintain formal documents (e.g. Safety Requirements Specifications)
    Prepare, organize and facilitate risk assessments studies
  • Assist in developing risk reduction after risk analyses, including the needed performance level of the safety functions
  • Perform reliability calculations for the developed machines safety functions
  • Perform internal safety design audits
  • Support the development and maintenance of our engineering safety component database with the needed regulatory compliance checks
  • Calculate cable sizing and protections (fuses, circuit breakers….)
  • Provide training regarding the internal safety standards, regulatory safety procedures and requirements
  • You will be reference in safety design knowledge for dedicated region
  • If necessary, you will visit the foreign engineering entities or our production factories

Personality requirements and skills


 
  • Master degree in electrical engineering or equal by experience
  • Excellent safety awareness
  • Capable of delivering a high standard of technical writing
  • Knowledge of safety analysis techniques e.g. risk analyses, FMEA,…
  • Knowledge in machinery safety-related standards (ISO 12100; ISO 13849; ISO TR14121-2…)
  • Knowledge of low voltage electrical equipment regulations and standards (EN-IEC60204, IEC 61439…)
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic regulations and standards (ISO4413, ISO4414…)
  • Preferable knowledge of control systems (programmable logic controllers, motor drives, safety systems, …….) and instrumentation design
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and multitasking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferable more than 3 years of experience in machine (safety) design
