Sales representative - Home Care and Personal Care (SK, CZ and HU)

Information about the position

  • Place of work: Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Hungary (The job requires travelling)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 700 EUR/monthThis is our minimum fixed base salary, which we are required to publish by law. The package also includes a performance bonus. Our offer might be significantly higher, based on your skills and experience.
  • Start date: flexible - Q1 2023
  • Contract type: full-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

o Manage and develop the customer portfolio within Home Care and Personal Care industries in Slovakia, Hungary and Czech republic
o Hunt for new customers and actively increase market share
o Identify customers needs and potential, increase knowledge of BASF products and product portfolio on the target markets
o Define customer strategies depending on customer segmentaition, industry and strategic fit
o Advise customers on suitable BASF products and ensure technical support as required
o Provide regular communication and reporting (sales forecasts / monthly report /customer visit reports)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Material Science) or Business with natural science interest

Language skills

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and Hungarian - Advanced (C1) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

o Customer focus, Drive and Creativity do develop your markets
o Excellent interpersonal skills, incluence and professional presentation
o University education (chemistry, science or business with natural science interest)
o 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferrably in the chemical / personal or home care sector
o Graduates with a strong drive to learn and ambition will also be considered
o English, together with Slovak/Czech and Hungarian are required
o Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week
