Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Project Manager to coordinate and supervise the entire process of payroll functions transfer from an external payroll provider. Duration of the project is set to last 6 months.

  • Plan, coordinate and participate in payroll accounting activities transfer to ensure timely and accurate project completion, in cooperation will all relevant parties.
  • Participate in the preparation, processing, analysis and auditing of payroll data, information, records and reports; ensure accuracy and completeness of assignments.
  • Assess and communicate the project period and organize reporting approaches for the project.
  • Communicate with HR department and external service providers to exchange information regarding payroll functions.
  • Provide quality feedback and prepare reports for upper management, human resources and finance department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

  • Minimum of five years of proven experience as payroll specialist or payroll manager
  • University degree in the area of finance, accounting, economics or similar
  • Solid understanding of payroll accounting practices, legislation and regulations in the field
  • Proficient in MS Office and payroll SW
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Active English language (C1) a must
