Logistics Specialist / Customer Service Representative

Information about the position

  • Place of work: Banská Bystrica Region
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 000 EUR/monthThe final salary amount will be defined based on the successful candidate´s experience and seniority.
  • Start date: Upon agreement
  • Contract type: full-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Directly communicating with and providing customer service to TIER 1 and TIER2 business partners
• Eliminating possible supply problems by communication with customer and production planning
• Controlling and adjusting records of returnable and packaging on customer portals
• Regularly reporting and processing Supply Chain Management related documentation
• Ensuring fulfillment of customer requirements in terms of deadlines and deliveries, approving dates of deliveries or postponing deadline in critical cases
• Handling logistic claims related to delivery
• Analyzing causes of possible discrepancies between stocks and production plan; setting and maintaining master data in the internal system
• Being involved in proposals for improvements of logistics-related processes

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

• University education with a technical or economical specialization is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of production logistics and supply chain logistics, including customer service
• Active knowledge of English or German language, including professional technical vocabulary
• Proactivity – self-starter
• Ability to work alone but provide support to colleagues
• Good problem solving skills, capability to anticipate and resolve problems
• Strong people management skills
• Assertive with a professional attitude
• Ability to spot opportunities and provide inputs to production
