Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of your role:
• Responsible for establishing and improving agile processes within one or more teams and helping transition existing work practices to infusing a real agile understanding from the top-down
• Guide, coach, and mentor multiple product teams through the process of moving to Agile ways of working, ultimately helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner
• Oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization

Your key responsibilities will be:
• Assist and mentor Scrum Masters and work with product, project and support teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of sustainable agile best practices
• Build internal capabilities within the team to ensure they are adopting new ways of working focusing on outcomes over outputs, staying on track with agile techniques, and adjusting approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
• Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching and empower the teams while providing strategic vision and focus on outcomes
• Coach senior management in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down and to establish and maintain an environment which fosters a collaborative, innovative and high-performing organization
• Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the organization
• Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them, and champion the use of metrics across teams
• Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practices
• For each team, ensure that the methodology includes creating the product vision and implementation from strategy to product roadmap, ensuring agile ways of working are applied with outcome-based roadmaps and objective key results for the teams
• Proactively recognize conflict; facilitate conflict resolution through collaboration and consensus
• Facilitate ad-hoc agile learning activities for teams and the wider organization
• Collaborate with and support and agile education strategy across teams and the organization, reinforcing practices and renewed adoption
• Participate and contribute to the Agile Coaching Practice. Introduce any relevant learnings to enhance team and organizational agility
