Job description, responsibilities and duties

Understand the business, business processes, and business needs and consult the Product Owners
Identify the most relevant customer segments affecting the value of the product
Requirements engineering and translation into project scope
Administrative tasks, e.g. creation of documentation, presentation materials, scheduling of meetings
Support a Scrum master in the coordination of development teams within the product backlog
Support a scrum master in backlog refinement together with all relevant stakeholders
Coordinate and administrate Backlog Management Tool (e.g. Jira) and write user stories

Information about the selection process

The salary indicated is a tentative estimation and the final salary will be agreed after an interview, once we will find out more about your experience, skills and personality.

Arcondis is planning to setup its offices in Košice in Q4 2021 or Q12022 (also depending on the pandemic situation).

Until offices are setup, you can work fully remote from any place in Slovakia. Afterwards, you will be able to work partially from home as part of our benefits package.

The start date indicated for this position is the earliest possible one. It might shift to beginning of September 2021.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or German - Advanced (C1)

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business administration, life science or a comparable field
At least 1 year of practical experience in working as a Business Analyst, ideally in international, distributed teams
Experience in using agile tools and working in an agile project management approach
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Proactivity, problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
