Job description, responsibilities and duties
Applied Precision, in order to continue growing, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the ranks of its successful team.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager works to improve the organization's positioning in the market and thereby achieve financial growth. The incumbent defines the organization's long-term strategic objectives, establishes key potential customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and guarantees business transactions, participates in the management of existing representatives, distributors and customers as well as maintaining a thorough knowledge of current market conditions. Works in collaboration with the management team.
MORE SPECIFICLY DEVELOPMENT OF AFFAIRS
• Find new potential customers and convert into larger business deal;
• Make unsolicited calls, if any, within your market to ensure a strong portfolio of opportunities;
• Meet potential customers to grow and maintaining your network;
• Identify potential customers and decision makers in the targeted organization;
• Establish relationships with new customers;
• Establish relationships with current and potential representatives;
• Set up client meetings between decision makers and company executives;
• Coordinate and participate in trade show logistics as an exhibitor;
• Anticipate requests and directions;
• Work with the marketing team to develop proposals that speak to clients, that respond to their needs and / or concerns;
• Participate in the pricing of new products;
CUSTOMER LOYALTY
• Present new solutions and improve existing relationships;
• Work in collaboration with internal colleagues to meet client needs;
• Organize and participate in customer debriefings (internal and external);
DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
• Attend some industry events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and trends;
• Present and consult senior managers (1st and 2nd levels) on business trends in order to develop new services, products and distribution channels;
• Identify campaign opportunities, services and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales;
• Identify and develop the company's sales offers using market and competitor knowledge;
MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH
• Submit weekly progress reports ensuring data is consistent;
• Ensure that data is entered and managed within the CRM management system or any other sales management system of the company;
• Establish sales goals for the team and ensure they are met;
• Monitor account activity and help reach agreements to achieve goals;
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WHO HAS THE FOLLOWING PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in business and administration or equivalent AND between 5 to 10 years of experience in business development in the field of technology;
• Highly developed communication (oral and written) and persuasion skills;
• Results-oriented;
• Superior skills to build business networks;
• Having opened international markets;
• Hard prospector;
• Excellent planner;
• Bilingualism (ESSENTIAL);
• Like to travel internationally;
