Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Amazon Retail Account Management (RAM) team leads Vendors to be successful on Amazon. We are international and multilingual team, based in Bratislava and work with vendors across all Amazon EU marketplaces. We proactively engage with vendors via phone or mail to:
· negotiate annual terms to create mutually beneficial partnership
· remove vendor operational blockers to deliver best possible customer experience
· expand selection offer and drive growth of their business.

We are focused on driving results, using a combination of direct interaction with the vendor and by promoting usage of self-service solutions leveraging Amazon technology enhancements.. We work in a complex environment, using a variety of tools to perform our tasks. We prioritize our interaction with vendors based on business opportunity and we work with various or dedicated vendors throughout the year. We continuously improve our processes and we influence and interact with business and technical teams to create and improve process automation and vendor tools.

To support its growth, Amazon's Bratislava team is looking for an experienced Senior Retail Account Manager, speaking Spanish or German

As a Senior Retail Account Manager, your main responsibility will be to pro-actively engage vendors on our main programs. You will also have a role in driving complex projects of EU-wide impact. You will be responsible to dive deep and investigate root causes of complex cases. You will identify technical and/or operational problems and invent and implement alternative ways of working for yourself and the team. Senior Retail Account Managers are expected to work autonomously, be able to prioritize in an ambiguous environment, work with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2100 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Inc. in USA. Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or Spanish - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

· Language skills: Fluent English
· Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field ( Sales, account management and similar)
· Ability to effectively and efficiently complete difficult goals or assignments;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
· Demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders and be impactful even in difficult situations;
· Actively seeks solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills
· Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions;
· Contributes to a positive team environment.
· Is data oriented with an ability to identify trends and improvement suggestions and communicate them through the appropriate channels.
· Demonstrates excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures efficiently.
· Confident in using Microsoft Package (especially Excel);
· Proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
